Hello, fellow story-lovers and dream-weavers! It’s been six months since I moved my newsletter to Substack. Since then, I’ve been studying Substack and learning how to better connect with you, my readers, and fellow authors (including aspiring ones). I want us to become a community of like-minded and like-hearted eco-conscious and caring people. So this article will be at the top of the Unleashed home page until further notice to help you navigate the terrain so you can get the most from the community. So, let me start by introducing myself.

I’m W. Bradford Swift, your guide and companion on this literary expedition. Some of you might know me as an indie author of eco-fantasy and science fiction (30+ books and counting), while others as a Write on Purpose Coach. Here, I don the hats of both a storyteller and a mentor, and I’m thrilled to share this journey with you.

As an Author:
My vision is clear and heartfelt. Through the realms of eco-fantasy and science fiction, my goal is:

To inspire young people to become joyful lifelong readers, embarking on adventures that not only thrill but also instill a deep sense of responsibility and care for our Earth and its diverse inhabitants.

Stories have the power to change hearts, minds, and perhaps even the world.

As a Coach:
I stand beside aspiring authors ready to turn the whispered dream of “one day I want to write a book” into the resounding triumph of “today is the day I start.” For seasoned writers feeling lost or at a standstill, I’m here to reignite the spark of creation and guide you back to your path.
