Today’s podcast is sponsored by Porpoise Publishing, which in truth is my own publishing imprint. It’s my way to ‘shamelessly plug’ my forthcoming book, Write On Purpose: Authoring Your Legacy in the Second Half of Your Life. It’s available on preorder for 12 more days with some fantastic preorder bonuses, if I do say so myself, including the opportunity to win one of three Write On Purpose Coaching packages valued at $1600. To order, go to www.wbradfordswift.com/wopbook. Now on with the podcast.
Today on the Write On Purpose Podcast it is my pleasure to introduce you to one of my favorite Write On Purpose clients:
Sheila Lee Brown is a writer, artist, and generally very curious person. She was born and raised in South Carolina where she spent her childhood playing outdoors in the surrounding woods and making up stories with her three siblings. She enjoys writing, reading, drawing silly cartoons, and always learning and growing.
Welcome to the Write On Purpose Podcast,
While it’s typical for podcasters like me to interview famous/bestselling authors, I think it’s equally important to talk with up and coming authors and I know no better place to start then with clients that I’ve worked with like Sheila.
So, let’s jump in.
One thing that is unique about Sheila is that when she came to me, she was already a published author and I would say in the process she’d caught the ‘creativity bug’ so much of what we’ve worked on has been making a transition to a full time creative with an emphasis on writing. Would you say that’s pretty accurate, Sheila?
